it all still sucks

In case you were waiting for better news: I have none. The family member passed away, I still dont have a "real" job and I failed the bar exam again.

I am telling myself: "one day at a time"

  1. Tina, I am so very sorry for your loss. I'm sure you grew very close to your family member and this must be so hard. Grief is a journey and there's no rushing it. Hopefully with the bar exam you'll get some information that can help you plan for the next time. One day at a time. -SB

  2. I’m sorry. The pass rate was only 33 percent, so it must have been really tough. James.

  3. I am so sorry to hear of your loss.

I think you are a kind, good person.

Please take heart in that your husband loves you. He does.

I am sure that there are many others that love you too.

  5. You just have to stick with it and keep plugging on the bar. They're right that California has always had a very low pass rate. This dates from the time when they worried that every aging lawyer would want to retire there (or in Florida). I blew my first bar in NY and I got on the bus to Albany and went over where they had marked me down. It was sobering but helpful--I'd gone to a top law school so didn't take preparing the way I should've. I know they charge a lot but take a review course if you can. They're all different from when I was in that position but it really does help. I keep thinking about what a marvelous person you are--you'll get this done. Write me if you want and I'll offer some other ideas.
